About Janiya

Hi!, I'm  a graphic design student at Indiana State University with a passion for creating clean, impactful visual work. I focus on branding, layout, and digital design, always aiming to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

In addition to design, I’m a Division I track athlete, which has taught me discipline, consistency, and how to perform under pressure—some qualities I bring into my creative work every day.

Outside of design and athletics, I run my own food business called Plates by Neeks, which I started in 2023. Managing my business has given me hands-on experience in branding, marketing, and building connections with people.

I’ve always loved both design and cooking because they allow me to create and bring ideas to life in different ways. After graduating, I plan to continue growing as a designer while expanding my business. I’m always open to new opportunities to create and collaborate.
